Driftwood Tales & Friends…

IMG_9703

Here are a few wooden signs and frames I’ve previously made – most have been given as gifts, although I couldn’t resist keeping a few… The driftwood mirror was made in the 90’s from driftwood I collected on a beach in Mousehole, Cornwall! Still got it hanging in my craft room today – it’s still in excellent condition and I’ll always love it!

The Sea theme 3d frame was created using a watercolour painting I started of Mousehole Harbour (never quite finished…) and driftwood and other bits collected on the beach as before. The frame was an old pine frame which used to have a rather naff sunflower in it many moons ago! I gave this to someone very special as a birthday present. She shared many of those nice old memories 🙂

The picture & the Woodshedding’ plaques were made from old pieces of floorboard, and the cat & French signs were made from shelves from an old shop paper & card display.
